Too Long

Wow! over 3 years ago was my last post.
My cute hubba hubba politely asked me if I would start couponing again.
So guess what I did this am? went to pinterest and found a few sites to start me up again. I am getting the Sunday paper again. So, here goes....

Last Day of School=Weight Watchers Meatloaf!

really, that's what it means. My kids love meatloaf, so although this is a TREAT for my kids, it's actually pretty healthy if you make it the smart way. Here's a recipe I just found, but this is not the recipe I USE...lol. but it looks similar and yummy.

LACK of POSTING...

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts. I really only do this for me, but if it benefits anyone that'd be cool, too. So, if there is anyone out there that I have let down, I'm truly sorry.
We moved in October, and with the holidays, being off track, and switching to new schools, along with my new fun job of babysitting a friends' baby full time, I've been a little busy.
To be perfectly honest, I haven't coupon shopped in a long time...I've been buying only the bare minimum and essentials and we've been living off our stockpile. I still have quite a bit of Peanut butter and Ragu and H.Helpers, so we've been making a lot of that stuff, so we didn't have to spend all sorts of money on food. $ been a little tight lately, but we're on the upswing, I hope.

I am crossing my fingers that I'll get to do a big coupon trip in the month of Feb. and get back into couponing very soon. Been really missing all the deals.

I love me a SWEET deal! and last week, at my Ralphs,

#5 bag of potatoes were on sale for .68cents. this is the

absolute CHEAPEST I've ever seen potatoes for...in

the 18 months I've been coupon shopping.

So, I bought 4 bags.....

This morning, I baked 2 bags and made twice

baked potatoes to store in my freezer. Thanks to my

friend, Jill, for this idea a year ago. I do it every time

I can buy cheap potatoes.

for all my so-cal peeps...

thru 9/22.
Buy 10 save 5$.
There were 2 items I was REALLY
excited about.
Capri-Suns are 99cents after the -5$
i used a few 1$/3 blinkies that i got last week,
on that aisle and ended up getting
10 boxes for 7$
Also, Wheat thins and triscuits are 1.49 after the -5$
i couldn't find a Q for this, but this is a great price...
