Sincere Apology for the Lack of Posts lately

I am truly sorry that I haven't been sharing any deals of any sorts lately.
We are right smack in the middle of a quick move, right before Christmas,
and what's worse is my kids are now off-track. So they are right at my feet
most of the day...
Makes it a little difficult to pack.
The truth is I haven't been shopping face the only shopping I've
really done is Christmas.
I've needed bread for a week, and still haven't made it to the store...
I did run into CVS, so my 6 yr old DS could buy a toy with his money he'd
been saving. So I did sneak in one deal...
3 LG EXCEDRIN...used no Qs, as I was totally unprepared.
Paid with my FLEX card...
and earned 10$
I have so much money to still spend on my FLEX...
I was just trying to spend a quick 50...
truth is, I didn't even know about the Excedrin deal, since I haven't
even paid attention to the ads.
I'll post again once I've moved, and am shopping again.
Merry Christmas...and happy shopping.

Someone threw off my GROOVE at CVS

I messed up today. What was supposed to be 4
transactions, somehow got lumped into 3. This
really made a difference on my OOP. ugh.

1st time: This should have been 2 transactions with what
I was planning to earn ECB wise
3 pkg duracell batteries...21.77
1 Lorea'l AgePerfect...15.99
2 Revlon Nail Polishes...4.99BOGO
coupons used:
3x .75 duracell Q
2$ Lorea'l Q
2$ Revlon Q
PAID 4.27 ECBs, and 35.21 OOP
earned $15(duracell) and $15.99(Lorea'l) ECBs

2nd time other card...
1 Lorea'l...15.99
6 Kleenex...1.49 and BOGO
total: 20.46
coupons used
2$ Lorea'l Q
2x .50 Kleenex/wyb 3
PAID 19.05 OOP
earned $15.99 ECBs (Lorea'l)

3rd time:
3 pkg duracell
total: 21.77
coupons used:
3x .75 duracell
PAID 15.99 ECB(from previous trans.)
3.98 OOP
earned $15 ECBs(duracell)

I think I'm set on batteries for Christmas...woohoo
I walked out of the store with lots of ECBs
15.99 Lorea'l

Learn from my mistake...please.
but the Kleenex is a killer deal.
I paid .57 cents each.
doesn't sound too killer, but they're
the ones with lotion in them....

2 more days- FREE $5 Starbucks have a chance to win!

I'm bummed about how most of the Day went yesterday.
The first half of my props and my President didn't go the way I wanted. So, like McCain said, paraphrasing, of course, "we need to back President Elect Obama, and stand together as a nation. Rally together." Isn't McCain so gracious and PRESIDENTIAL? Hmmmm?
I wonder what CHANGE will cost? or mean? I'm a little nervous, and like my Friend, Lauren, I will start praying that Obama will be able to make good decisions for the people of America.

And, here's your chance to enter a giveaway for a FREE $5 Starbucks giftcard.
Visit this CUTE BLOG and enter the giveaway. Good luck.
Hope you have a SWEET day.

You gotta find a Bread Store

My husband is a little picky about his bread. We really only buy Orowheat...So a while ago, my friend Julie and I found a bread store, and we decided to go again yesterday. (It's in Murrieta, for those of you that live in So. Cal, somewhere near me. It's on Jefferson Street. I'm trying to find the phone number or address for you, but thus far, NO LUCK. ) We TRAVELED, yes I said traveled, about 25 miles away, Freeway the whole way, to go to the Orowheat Outlet. You really gotta find one of these in your area. You get a stamp for every dollar you spend, and when you fill your card up you get 2 free items, plus there is usually a double stamp day...meaning you get double the stamps per dollar you spend. Of course we went on a double-stamp day... our's are Wednesday and Sunday...
I bought 6 loaves of Orowheat Buttermilk, 2 loaves of 7 grain Orowheat, 8 mini loaves of Orowheat Buttermilk (these are only like 4 slices short of a regualar loaf, and more than half the price off) 1 box of Entemann's donuts 99cents, 1 pkg Orowheat Hamb. Buns=24.64
1 free orowheat white sandwich bread
1 free Entemann's Raspberry Danish FOR MEEEE!
20 items for 24.64

*I didn't get a picture before re-organizing my Freezer and puting it all away. But trust me when I say, it takes up almost 1 whole shelf...all for bread. yipee.

My FIRST post

Welcome to my new blog...for all of my brags and highlights of all the shopping trips to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Ralphs, Vons and Stater Brothers...there may be more than never know.
I'm just getting started so bear with me.
This is all for fun, and just so I have a place to brag, so all the good deals don't congest my family blog.
Go there sometime, if you wanna see my cute family.
Happy Shopping, and like I always say...
"May the FORCEs be with you...."
